What is the purpose of the role?
This role will be focussed on assisting and supporting the Supplier Relationship Management Team within Thames Digital and will require an individual able to contribute to our day-to-day operations and working towards achieving our tactical and strategic targets.

What will this role involve?
The role will include a variety of different duties including the following:
You will fulfil various administrative tasks.
You will record, update, coordinate and distribute information within the SRM Team and liaise with Thames Water’s suppliers; both via phone and via e-mail.
You will request quotes from suppliers; thereafter reviewing for correctness and process purchase order requests from other partner teams with Thames Water.
You will liaise with other Thames Water teams and collaborate with service owners to obtain and update information.
You will be working with the designated tools to assist the SRM Team in managing tickets, incidents and escalations.
You will manage the SRM calendar with regards to supplier reviews, meetings, etc.
You will be note-taking and distribute minutes from meetings.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who ideally is qualified to a graduate level or equivalent. You will have strong problem-solving, analysis skills combined with a desire to understand “why” and a drive to better performance. You will be used to working with a team spread over multiple locations, have broad knowledge of supplier management, customer service techniques, initiative, IT operations management and stakeholder management. You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills with a positive, proactive approach to work. You will be known to be a professional with high standards paying particular attention to detail and have the flexibility to undertake various projects and role focus areas. Ideally but not necessarily you will have had experience with SAP user experience and ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool experience.
Thames Water information and salary details
This role is based at our offices in Reading. We are offering a salary of up to £26,000 dependant on skills and experience.
