What is the purpose of the role?

The purpose of this role is the development of maintenance planning with Tideway in preparation for the handover of maintenance to Thames Water. This role will work closely with Tideway as they develop the Maintenance Management System for Tideway Tunnel assets, and work with Thames Water Operational Planning to develop plans for transition from Tideway ownership to Thames Water ownership. This role reports to the LTT System Operator Project Manager.

What makes this role unique?

This role is unique as it is within one of the most exciting and challenging infrastructure and system builds in the UK this century. As Tideway enters the critical building and TW integration phase, maintaining the new and existing assets to the correct criticality is essential to the successful exploitation of this asset and able to assume effective operation and maintenance of the tunnel at handover.

What will this role involve?

In this role, you will work very closely with the Tideway Integration Group, Tideway, and TW operational staff (including asset performance and availability) to ensure:

The necessary maintenance plans are prepared and ready, and access needed is available to prepare TW for maintenance and handover of the TTT.

This role is critical to ensuring Thames Water complies with Operation and Maintenance Agreement between Tideway and TWUL.

The role will require the development of reporting systems that demonstrate to internal and external stakeholders that Thames Water is ready for handover of Maintenance of the new assets.

What are we looking for?

To be successful you will have maintenance management experience, and be an excellent collaborator. You will have strong communication and delivery skills, either in a project or operational environment. The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain close working relationships with Tideway and their Contractors to become an integral part of the project delivery team and to deliver outcomes to the benefit of Thames Water and the project.

Thames Water information and salary details

This role will be based at Tideway’s offices at London Bridge however there is flexibility to be based out of another site. We are offering a salary of up to 50,000 depending on skills and experience.
