What is the purpose of the role?

You will lead a team of registration associates who operate and manage the processes involved in data integrity within the market. You will ensure day to day tasks are monitored, understood and controlled, whilst adhering to operational service levels. This role provides technical advice to associates when troubleshooting tasks as well as continuously monitoring the team's workload and supporting their development. You will also have the capability of creating and providing reports that will show the teams workload and other areas that will fall within registrations,creating these using tools such as excel etc. is essential.

Part of the wholesale market services, this team is required to facilitate the delivery of our business's new market obligations.

We enable the sale of services to all companies licensed to operate in the water markets, this equates to over 400m of revenue that is managed within the team. As well as managing approximately 40m of risk associated with market compliance.

This unique opportunity plays a major part in the operation of these new market arrangements, providing essential support to our business customers.

What will this role involve?

Manage a team of associates to operate and maintain processes involved in the registration team recognising where the teams skills can be utilised and evolved.

Coach the team to meet business objectives and enhance the individual performance of associates with regular one to ones.

Work with the registration manager to ensure that training and support material are up to date, and in line with current registration policies and procedures.

Analyse registration reports, highlight risks and opportunities that may exist from trends seen in market transactions.

Work with the registration manager to identify risks and opportunities within the team and the wider business.

Work with the registration associates to trouble - shoot issues that need to be escalated and resolved.

To be the lead in data analysis and integrity, making amendments and monitoring control all data related enquiries that fall under the registration team.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an individual with team management experience, specifically related to teams dealing with the management of technical information. You will have good interpersonal skills, and strong communication skills. Furthermore, you will have experience working with IT software, such as Excel or other database applications. Finally, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and numeracy skills, with an ability to make logical and well thought - out decisions. One key aspect to this is to have the capability to run and provide reports based on performance as well as aspects of the registration process, the ability to have these in excel is pivotal.

This role is based at Clearwater Court, Reading. We are offering a salary of up to 30k depending on experience plus benefits.
