What is the purpose of the role?
You will be responsible for the management of our wastewater network within the Northern Thames Valley area. This role is a critical role in field operations accountable for the delivery of stringent H&S standards, compliance with regulatory requirements and for driving our performance in delivering the Operational budget. You will ensure that our stations are operating as effectively as possible to ensure we get it right for customers, reduce complaints and unwanted contacts, and drive up customer satisfaction.

What will this role involve?
In this position you will be responsible for:
Delivering operational performance through efficient running of the Waste network.
Driving a culture of excellent Health & Safety. Leading and developing a field based team.
Meeting and exceeding tight financial targets whilst maintaining quality.
Delivering excellent customer experience - specifically delivering CSAT and SIM targets, fostering relationships with the communities that are served within the region Being responsible for promoting a continuous improvement culture that has a sustainable strategic impact on both Operational and wider business performance.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an exceptional leader with extensive experience managing and developing a team. You must have excellent Health and Safety management experience, NEBOSH is preferred. Ideally you will be educated to degree level or equivalent with previous technical knowledge of networks, pumping or customer operations and have demonstrable skills in delivering change in operational performance.
Thames Water information and salary details
In return, we are offering a salary of up to £42,000 and an out of hour’s additional payment. This role will be Field based across the North of the Thames Valley area.
