What is the purpose of the role?

We are currently seeking a Production & Supply Chain Co-ordinator to effectively engage with all Property Searches’ suppliers for both onshore and offshore services; whilst monitoring expenditure against budget, validating invoices and providing detailed analysis on monthly costs. You will support with daily supervision through administration of supplier costs, account management of existing suppliers and well as assisting with on-boarding of new suppliers.

What will this role involve?

Own, lead and be responsible for all outgoing costs associated with order & production services.

Work closely with Finance to supply & analyse information to satisfy complex needs of the team and external stakeholders; and recommend solutions.

Working with the team manager engage with suppliers to identify underlying issues with service provision and drive areas for continuous improvement.

Maintain and be accountable for up to date catalogues of costs with clear tracking of profit margins on products and services.

Deputise in team manager’s absence and co-ordinate Production team tasks and duties.

Develop and/or promote technical improvements to improve the way business is done.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a driven individual with strong analytical skills, good attention to detail and possess excellent stakeholder engagement management skills with a proven ability to communicate at all levels. You will need to showcase excellent negotiating and influencing skills as well as demonstrating proven supplier management with strong engagement and relationship building abilities. You must have the ability to create, analyse, interpret and articulate appropriate reports and other data sets; and so intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. The successful candidate will possess the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Knowledge of SAP and supply chain activities is highly advantageous.

This role is based in our Reading head office, with a salary of up to 25k depending on skills and experience.
