What is the purpose of the role?
The purpose of this role will be to provide a high level of support to the Managing Director. This role will assistant the Managing Director’s day to day activities, with a particular focus on proactively managing customer complaints which have been escalated to the Managing Director.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Thames Water as an Executive PA to a member of our Executive team. In this role, you will make a crucial contribution to our operations by ensuring that processes and communications are carried out efficiently.
What will this role involve?
Key responsibilities of this role will involve:
Preparing and editing presentations for key stakeholders internally and externally, board members and investors.
Taking ownership of investigating high level customer complaints on behalf of the Managing Director and liaising with various departments to manage the most effective way to provide resolution for the customer.
This may involve liaising directly with the customer via letter, telephone or face to face and/or briefing the Managing Director in advance of them meeting/speaking with the customer.
Ensuring the Managing Director is fully briefed ahead of key meetings and has the relevant information and context required.
Project managing any required actions with stakeholders and teams in the business.
Complex diary and mailbox management, ensuring that time is planned and managed to enable maximum effectiveness and productivity.
Regular liaison with other Executive lead team members, senior managers and PAs across Thames Water and with key external partners and stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail alongside first class organisational skills having gained experience working within a similar role supporting senior management. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally have experience liaising with high profile customer complaints. You will be self-reliant with the ability to work under your own initiative, a high level of professionalism, pro-active and outstanding communication skills. You must be fully competent with using the Microsoft suite and ideally experience of using various Company IT systems, including SAP. The ability to handle pressure and changing priorities is essential.
Thames Water information and salary details
You will be primarily based in our headquarters in Reading but may be required to travel within the Thames Water regional. We are flexible on working hours and will consider both full time and part time hours. We are offering a salary between £34,000.00 – £38,000.00 depending on skills and experience.
