What is the purpose of the role?
To understand, digest & fully contribute to the successful achievement of the North London performance metrics by supporting the Regional Leadership team in achieving the KPI’s set out for the financial year. To develop understanding & appreciation of end to end regional accountability and deliverables & to become highly informed and able to assist the Regional Leadership team with specific actions & projects.

The successful candidate will be working with various teams across the whole business and will be involved with multiple areas from leakage, project delivery, networks and operational change management. What will this role involve?
Drive a zero-compromise approach to Health, Safety, and Wellbeing and Water Quality.
To work closely & support regional leadership team in hitting KPIs relating to projects, investigations and ‘workstreams’.
This will be achieved through the setting up and facilitation of workshops and group working sessions as well as building and maintaining action plans.
Constructively and strongly challenge views and decisions to ensure objectives are met across the regional areas of North London.
To own action logs, take actions at regional meetings and hold the regional leadership team accountable for the delivery of actions that had previously been agreed whilst challenging on responses for late closures.
To build and manage a North London Risk register with collaboration from other departments.
To attend and support regional leadership team in key meetings with the responsibility to build and roll out action plans.
To source data in order to collate reports as required by the stakeholders and leadership team.
To investigate, analyse and provide solutions for customer & operational issues by challenging the company systems & coordinating between departments in order to learn and make improvements.
To be an informed delegate for key meetings across a number of disciplines within the region.
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate with be proficient in all Microsoft packages as well as in the use of SAP & CRM. They will have a tenacious approach to problem solving with meticulous attention to detail, as well as being proactive in taking action and anticipating outcomes. Experience working on projects to deadlines ideally with a Prince2 qualification. To have the ability to influence and persuade others to take a specific course of action when there is no direct line of command or control. Highly effective communicator to all levels with the ability to tailor approach to audience requirements while understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
Thames Water information and salary details
This role is based at Deephams Stw but involves travel across the whole Thames Water North London region. We are offering a salary between £35,000 and £44,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Due to the nature of the role, a company car or car allowance will also be provided.
