What will this role involve?
Owning the Learning Experience Platform (LMS), third party content providers and key digital learning creation tools and processes.
Developing creative digital learning content that will be accessible to a variety of groups and locations, and delivered on a variety of media (eg laptop, phones and learning kiosks).
Proactively working with subject matter experts to script, design and develop great e-learning content.
Utilising own creativity to develop engaging content for a variety of audiences and assessments that deliver the feedback and metrics required.
Evaluating existing curriculum or teaching materials and converting to digital content in line with best practice methodologies.
Bringing in the latest, best practice, digital learning techniques and tools to transform Thames Water’s learning and career provision.
What are we looking for?
Do you have extensive knowledge of digital and e-learning training solutions? Have you got experience working from fresh and implementing these solutions? If so, apply now! We are seeking an engaging individual with previous experience of working closely with stakeholders to transform the ideas of business experts into digital content that is useful and available across the business. You will have the ability to build, develop and maintain constructive working relationships across the business in order to understand and implement best practice and latest thinking; as well as to develop appropriate strategies. Excellent planning and communications skills are required, and strong analytical capabilities are crucial, particularly in tackling critical situations and implementing improvements. To understand our plans, challenges and requirements the ideal candidate will come from a similar, complex organisation providing a technical, operational service.
Thames Water information and salary details
This role is based in central Reading with a salary of £36,000 - £46,000, depending on skills and experience. Our excellent salary package includes a competitive contributory pension and a wider benefits scheme which includes an annual pay review, season ticket loans and loyalty awards for continuous service plus many more.
