What you’ll be doing

This is a unique opportunity for a brilliant writer and communicator to work closely with our CEO as we turn around our performance. The Corporate Engagement Manager will develop and deliver our CEO’s engagement strategy, working collaboratively with senior management and teams across the business to increase engagement with all stakeholder groups.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Engagement, this role will support the CEO’s drive for open and transparent, multi-channel engagement to build trust with our customers, colleagues, and stakeholders as we deliver our ambitious plan.

Each day will be different. We’re looking for someone who’s experienced in working with senior executives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt and respond to competing priorities.

Some of the things you’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing the CEO engagement strategy, making sure it reflects stakeholder needs and business priorities
  • Writing and reviewing content for the CEO to make sure it captures their vision and style
  • Working collaboratively with teams across the business, keeping in touch with evolving priorities and trends to inform engagement
  • Exploring new opportunities to build engagement, including through social media
  • Leading on an event to engage stakeholders with our business priorities and progress

We’re looking for

  • An experienced, energetic and organised communicator
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to capture and communicate key messages effectively
  • Communications experience, either in-house or from an agency
  • An ability to balance working in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience working with, and writing for, senior management to CEO level
