What you’ll be doing
· Responsibility for Estate Management activities, working with key partners within Thames Water Ventures to make strategic decisions regarding our corporate real estate and land holdings
· To support the principal estates surveyor in the development and documentation of Estate Management strategy with key objectives, opportunities, benefits, risks, and mitigating measures identified
· Development of people in a culture of accountability and achievements in line with Thames Water’s / Ventures people strategy
· Actively protecting, managing, and enhancing Thames Water’s reputation to internal as well as external customers and stakeholders
· Work with key partners within the business to ensure the service delivery matches the business requirements where possible in all areas
· Ensuring that the full range of property services is provided to Thames Water in the most cost-effective, professional, and efficient way.

· Create mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships with key business stakeholders in Operations, Asset Management and Conservation
· Build collaborative working relationships with external bodies, as Thames Water’s representative, i.e. Local Authorities & London Borough Councils, regulated bodies, development partners and neighbouring landowners
· Collaboratively work with other functions of the Estates and Tideway and Property team and Ventures teams

What you should bring to the role ?
- Degree level education in relevant field
- Property/Corporate Real estate qualification MRICS or Equivalent
- Experience in commercial real estate
- Excellent proven commercial and contractual acumen
- Experience in leading cross-business and multi-disciplinary teams
- Project management experience and understanding of project methodologies
- Management of a large and diverse Property portfolio
- Mixed property experience would be advantageous including proactive clearance system management
