SAP Utilities Functional Consultant

Travel to Clearwater Court, Reading and Swindon office, Hybrid working.

As an SAP Functional Consultant, you will bring expertise in process analysis, process and system design, systems development, configuration, testing, implementation, and training. You will support the SAP Product Teams in Retail and Group to guide delivery, ensure solutions and specifications meet our quality requirements, and ultimately deliver the technology roadmap to support digital transformation. In addition, you will work closely with the Business Stakeholders to limit the customisation only to those that are differentiating and adopt best practice processes in those that are not.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide specialist help during production incidents and triage
  • Be hands on for configuration and testing
  • Create and Manage delivery artefacts
  • Work closely with the Business process owners to promote continuous process improvement and provide training and upskilling
  • Responsible for coordinating with Product Owners and Business Process Owners to ensure alignment between processes and design

Your Skills

  • Experience of full implementation SAP lifecycles; deploying, managing, and enhancing SAP systems
  • Have worked previously in the Utility Sector and have experience with SAP IS-U
  • Integration of the ISU module with other SAP modules and with external applications
  • Understand business requirements, provide solutions, functional specifications and configure the system accordingly
  • Ability to create and present workshop collateral for blueprinting, demonstrations, and training
  • Specialist in Billing – Master Data, Rate Structures, Budget Billing, Payment & Instalment Plans, Exception Management, Invoice Management
  • Knowledge of integration of Customer services with a CRM platform
  • Configuration & Set Up of Business & Technical Master Data
