We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations within our Data Protection function. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing administrative support across the department, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing as a Data Protection Administrator
- Manage incoming emails and correspondence, directing queries appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records and databases in line with company policies.
- Log and maintain data protection trackers (SAR and EIR)
- Extract and combine information for information requests
- Work closely with the wider team to manage and escalate risks, complaints or data breaches.
- Support the production of data protection related standards and guidance documents.
- Respond to data protection queries
- Action requests for calls
Base location – Newbridge Square Swindon office
Working pattern – Monday to Friday 36 hours
This is a fixed term contract/secondment for 3 months
What you should bring to the role
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need is:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in customer facing roles
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
