About the role:

To lead a region of the CHP Generator Maintenance Team to deliver its maintenance plan and targets for uptime and output using specialist technical knowledge, planning and effective people management.

Tracking, planning and prioritising all aspects of work to ensure it's carried out safely and with minimal disruption to generation.

Ordering materials and coordinating internal and external labour to deliver planned and reactive work.

Performance management of a team of technicians to deliver a high quality service.

Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Review asset performance data to identify where work is required to improve generator uptime and performance.

Scope and deliver of small projects relating to CHP generators.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

  • ONC/HNC or equivalent in electrical/mechanical/controls discipline, typically with more than five years relevant work experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of engine and/or generation systems.
  • Very good people and communication skills.
  • Ideally will have previous management experience.
  • Knowledge of biogas or natural gas systems is desirable.
