About the role:

We are currently seeking an engaging and hands-on mobile Trainer to join our successful and innovative Health & Safety team.

You will be working across the whole of the operational business, training our colleagues to be safe and compliant in their day to day responsibilities.

The focus of this role will be in the delivery, to feed into the 14,000 training days we offer each year.

We’re always planning ahead to make sure everyone can continue to enjoy fresh water and can appreciate clean rivers.  You will be supporting the operational division that supplies an extraordinary amount of water – around 18 billion litres a week, and who supports 15 million wastewater customers.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

This role will predominately be delivering Confined Space training therefore you will require demonstratable instruction experience in breathing apparatus and confined space. We’re seeking a passionate individual that can deliver training and assessments to a high standard to our staff base; conduct on site or in centre assessments of candidate's competence; and, plan and organise work with individuals and team members.

Key skills required:

  • L3 EAT (Education and Training)
  • Breathing Apparatus Instructor
  • Confined Space Instructor (demonstratable experience or better)
  • Nebosh or Iosh Trained

You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, at all business levels specifically in presenting; be known to have a meticulous and diligent work ethic; and have the ability to complete and return all documentation in a timely manner.
