About the role:

This role is a key position within the business where you are responsible for coordinating, tracking and reporting on a range of metering programmes. You will be tasked with highlighting issues relating to the regulatory meter data and related suite of assets as well as day to day management of regulatory meter data and be the main point of contact for any issues. Day to day duties will include:

  • Identify faulty meters through weekly checks using Excel, Pi, and Scada or through verification program.
  • Work with teams to identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and serviceability of meter.
  • Create work orders for the metering team to resolve, use the website to record progress.
  • Liaise with Network Optimisation Team, Leakage Optimisation Team and Production Team to raise APS risks to request funding for replacement of meters.
  • Co-ordinate and track the progress of the regulatory meter verification program.
  • Create Permit to Works for permission to carry out verification on meters that are part of a production process.
  • Create work orders and Liaise with planning and scheduling team for ICA technicians to assist with process meter verifications and repairs.
  • React to site issue in verification plan, form solutions or escalate to relevant team managers to resolve and reduce the number of aborts to plan.
  • Liaise with the planning team to arrange and coordinate Traffic management requirements with regulatory meter work.
  • Weekly update and distribution of action plans: Zonal meter, Critical Pressure points, Meter Verification, Greater than 5% tracker, Priority meter replacement.
  • Completion of weekly and monthly performance reports.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

We are looking for someone that is ideally degree educated or equivalent and you must possess exceptional administrative skills. You will be confident working with a high volume of data and must have an eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will have a background in water or engineering, excellent communication, and analytical skills. We are looking for a candidate with computer literacy, ideally with some previous experience in using the Pi system however this is not essential. You will have strong coordination experience with the ability to export data across multiple systems and be able to identify and resolve problems quickly and successfully. You will have a strong work ethic and will be pro-active and you must be able to prioritise your workload.
