About the role:

 

Corporate reporting

  • Support the production of the Annual Report/Annual Performance/Sustainability Report including researching and writing engaging content, timetable management and collating materials for the report (i.e. photography).
  • Work with the assurance team to ensure accuracy of data and information
  • Research and communicate evolving best-practise reporting requirements
  • Work with the leakage and regulatory teams to coordinate and write monthly leakage narrative for the website, ensuring compliance with section 19 regulatory reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team to write and produce the Environment, Social and Governance statement, giving investors a ‘one stop shop’ for key ESG metrics

Stakeholder communication

  • Work with the Head of Corporate Engagement and Events to deliver the Our finances explained booklet to help stakeholders, our people and interested customers better understand our finances and operational priorities. Ensure consistency with our overarching corporate narrative, using content from the Annual Report, and work with teams across the business to increase distribution and engagement with the content, i.e. through new starter induction packs/internal communications to employees and customer service centres

Digital engagement

  • Working with content owners, ensure ‘corporate’ web content is up-to-date and reflects evolving strategic narrative
  • Write compelling and accessible web content aligned with strategic narrative, and which addresses the needs of stakeholders

Corporate events and awards

  • Support the Corporate Engagement and Events Manager to deliver event logistics for events such as the Annual Stakeholder Review and recognition awards, and ensure responsibilities are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Assist in the development of presentations for events, including ensuring consistency of messaging and working with the brand team to ensure compliance with style guidelines
  • Oversee tracker of Thames Water involvement in industry events to ensure value for money and increase reputational benefits
  • Manage purchase orders for the team

 

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

 

  • Excellent writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient using excel and a robust approach to data management – i.e. managing accurate and GDPR compliant invitation and RSVP lists for events and ensuring the accuracy of statements in our reports
  • Confident working with senior management and working in collaboration with teams across businesses
