About the role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, engaging and motivating a team of 40+ Thames Water staff and 250+ contractors working on behalf of Thames Water in our North London customer service territory.  Pro-actively building relationships with key stakeholders and customers is a key element of the role in addition to ensuring that Thames Water is successful in achieving relevant OFWAT sewer network performance targets.

This is a role requiring a broad range of management and leadership qualities. You will be passionate about health, safety & wellbeing and the environment, as well as having a strong customer service ethic. You will be confident in financial management, taking control of annual budgets exceeding £40m. 

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

We are looking for a well-organized, open, resilient, positive and people-focused individual. You will have significant leadership experience, strategic vision and an ability to translate this into action. You will be used to encouraging input from all areas, identifying and implementing new approaches which drive continuous performance improvement and have a strong grasp of asset and risk management.

An understanding of the water industry and of sewer networks is desirable but not essential.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Keeping the sewage in the sewers is our mission and by doing this you will drive down sewer flooding incidents and reduce sewer network pollution events, enhancing the quality of our local watercourses.
