About the role:
You will be responsible for providing administrative support and monitoring contractor response to issues such as sewer flooding, tankering, pollution events, customer escalations and planned maintenance activities on sewer pipes within the geographical area of West London.
It will be your responsibility to provide support for the right solution to be delivered to our customers quickly and efficiently. Day to day you will be required to:
- Monitoring tankering activity on the local sewer network and driving follow on work to resolve the issue.
- Tracking and reporting internal sewer flooding cases and driving follow on work with our contractor to resolve the underlying issue.
- Reviewing planned maintenance activities with the local network teams regularly to control costs, confirm priority work is completed, and ensure work is not raised without good reason.
- Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from internal or external customers and business partners, forwarding specialist requests as appropriate.
- Collating data, carrying out procedures and analyses of limited complexity and producing standard reports and for use by the team, area or department.
- Maintaining data using company-specific systems, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Administering business procedures, managing external relationships as required, according to agreed standards and service levels.
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
We are looking for an individual with experience in a similar role, in a demanding environment. You will need to have thorough IT knowledge, especially with Excel, to efficiently produce data analysis. Ideally with experience using systems such as VISTEC, GIS, Safeguard, SWIFT, APS, Fieldviewer and BOX. You will be educated to at least GCSE Level (or equivalent), have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise in a pressured environment.
