About the role:

The role is an exciting one within the Customer Programmes team, where the information from our permanent acoustic loggers, alongside other parts of our smart network, will lead to achieving our regulatory leakage commitments.

Part of the team that helps deliver a unique service to our 14 million customers daily 365 days a year. You will work as part of a team that are responsible for delivering the UK’s largest Water efficiency programme for households and non-household customers.

The project analyst will be responsible for reviewing contractor outputs to monitor performance. The analyst will subsequently work with internal teams and partners to report on leakage detection performance and investigate areas for improvement.

The project analyst’s role will critically involve the collation, interpretation and management of information received from the assets. This information will be used to identify risks and propose opportunities to drive subsequent delivery performance. Furthermore, the analyst will be expected to investigate ways to maximise the operational effectiveness of the assets, which will contribute to future delivery strategies.

The Project analyst will be responsible for:

  • Assuring the quality of information outputs.
  • Production of reports (weekly, monthly) on performance, highlighting and explaining variances between actual, target and forecast.
  • Working with leakage teams and partners to interpret asset information outputs and using this to focus leakage delivery performance.
  • Reviewing availability issues of loggers installed.
  • Reporting on and analysing the leakage detection performance of the acoustic loggers.
  • Identify areas of improvement.
  • Liaising with stakeholders regarding updates to the logger fleet.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Statistical analysis and Stakeholder management.
  • Fully competent at using the appropriate Company IT Systems and Office Software.
  • Ability to work independently and as an integral part of the team.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience using Modelling, Power BI and any GIS experience – preferred but not essential.
  • Highly focused customer service professional.
