About the role:

Within this role, you will coordinate and support the Contracts and Operations Manager, servicing team and third party service providers. The team will be offering network service resource for

asset upgrade, replacement activities, automation, accurate calibrated and verified instrumentation and 24/7 reactive response for network asset maintenance. Therefore you will be assisting in the delivery and coordination of the divisions KPIs and framework contracts. Main accountabilities of this role include:

  • Being responsible for effectively assisting with the delivery of H&S of all members of the team and those working on the Network.
  • Assisting the team to deliver an exceptional service to our customers and ensuring they trust us and the service we provide.
  • Keeping a committed drive on following budgetary and financial activities of the team and suggesting improvements to management.
  • Responsible for assisting the performance and delivery of Proactive and Reactive activities under the Assigned Contracts to the division. Framework/Non Framework Suppliers To ensure they understand what is expected of them in order to achieve optimal performance.
  • Assisting all individuals in the team ensuring they are motivated and take pride in what they do by developing and agreeing an action plans.
  • Delivering successful first time network service operations by managing upgrade, repair and replacement of inoperable assets and underperforming assets.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong skills in operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, H&S, stakeholder engagement and customer focus.
  • Water Network experience and must have proven experience in pressure management of Water Supply, distribution systems and Maintenance.
  • Degree level or equivalent (with preferably an Engineering/Civils & Mechanical)
  • Excellent people and performance skills
  • Strong health and safety and customer based ethic
  • Financial skills and able to demonstrate identifying and achieving financial efficiencies
  • Excellent organisational and risk management skills
  • Mechanical/ Instrumentational background with network asset knowledge and awareness of SCADA/ Aorta , Waternet and Watercore systems
