What you will be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to really make a difference in one or our most critical roles within Waste Treatment as a front-line performance manager. You will have two key accountabilities; firstly, to manage and support your team and secondly to manage the process.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and improvement of 15 sewage treatment works to ensure delivery of regulatory compliance within strict budgets and lead and develop a team of around 7 multi-skilled technicians, mechanics.

Please note, this role is covering a number of a number of sites South of Reading including Aldermaston, Arborfield, Ashford Hill, Burghfield, Kingsclere, Midgham, Stratfield Mortimer, Sherborne St John, Sherfield on Loddon, Silchester, Stratfield Saye, Sulhamstead, Wolverton Common & Townsend, Woolhampton. 

We’re looking for you to:

  • Have excellent people and performance management skills to support and drive a team of mixed skills and abilities.
  • Have process or operational management experience with strong skills in engineering, finance, H&S and stakeholder engagement.
  • Be focused on health and safety within the team and on site.
  • Be excellent at organisation and risk management.
  • A valid driving licence is required to travel to a number of sites.
