What you will be doing

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Process Technician at one of our waste treatments sites. As the successful candidate, your role will be to perform a range of assigned front line activities including operation, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure that services are delivered to time, cost, and quality standards. In some cases, this may include planned and preventative maintenance of equipment to support the operation of the plant.

You will be expected to attend all team meetings, and engage with safety briefings and company communications, identifying issues and raising constructive feedback with the management team, with suggestions for improvements.

You will be expected to take ownership of your own and colleagues health and safety through escalating any concerns to your manager or resolving them yourself where possible and appropriate.

We’re looking for you to:

  • Previous operative experience would be beneficial but is not essential – we welcome people who are keen to learn.
  • Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures.
  • Have computer data input /enquiry experience as well as the ability to operate modern technology as work will be scheduled through this system.
  • You will be a team player, passionate about your own personal development, and keen to learn a new industry.
  • Due to the nature of the role a full, valid UK driving licence is required. 
  • You will have basic literacy and numeracy skills
