About the role:

The Systems Performance and Delivery Co-ordinator is a pivotal role that supports Thames Water Property Searches by validating, troubleshooting and working with our technical support teams to resolve system incidents and service disruptions. In this fast-paced, hands on role, you will capture, monitor progress and deliver the system, process and product fixes or changes needed to satisfy operational/customer/industry/regulatory requirements.

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to support the progress and implementation of small and medium scale system change projects, required to provide solutions for system defects/failures. You will support our continuous improvement ethos by developing and progressing ideas so that Property Searches can continue to deliver for our customers. 

 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Working with Thames Water Digital support teams and our operational teams to ensure that all Property Searches systems/applications are functioning effectively
  • Identifying and raising business incidents and service disruptions, managing them through to resolution
  • Ensuring business readiness across our stakeholder community ahead of planned changed, including the design and co-ordination of User Acceptance Testing
  • Accurately recording business requirements to ensure remediation plans are fit for purpose
  • Analysing service failures and breaks in automations, developing and deploying actions to remediate underlying issues
  • Completing regular maintenance of systems and associated datasets, updating corresponding process documentation and training materials
  • Providing business leads with effective and timely progress updates
  • End-to-end planning, documenting and delivery of small/medium scale projects and Small Value Change (SVC) requests
  • Carrying out essential tactical manual interventions to keep the business functioning 

What we’re looking for:

  • Incident management as part of a previous role is highly desirable, as is an understanding of XML integrations
  • Ability to analyse technical issues and articulate findings in a straightforward manner
  • Stakeholder engagement, both supplier and operational
  • Driving continuous improvements with systems and processes 

Desirable qualifications

  • Experience of delivering system change through defined projects would be beneficial
  • Project Management (Fundamentals)
