About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our role high voltage maintenance team where you will assist the SAP in delivering the maintenance, isolation and returning to service of HV electrical equipment in a safe and efficient manner. You will also be fault finding and repairing HV and LV equipment. This specialist role will be looking after many water and wastewater high voltage assets across 72 sites which will include Beckton / Hammersmith / Acton and covering Longreach, Crossness and many more sites over the patch.

We’re looking for you to:

  • Have a formal electrical trade qualifications and experience in a relevant industrial engineering environment, including maintenance and fault finding is essential. Applicants with formal training in electrical technology or craft training will also be considered.
  • Have previous experience working with HV equipment.
  • Have a good working knowledge of general health and safety requirements and electrical safety procedures.
  • Possess good inter-personal and communication skills, be numerate and literate. Basic IT skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision is essential.
  • Due to the nature of this role, a valid UK driving licence is also essential.
