What you’ll be doing
We're looking for a Senior business intelligence Data Engineer with strong Azure Data Factory, SQL, ETL, and reporting skills to augment the Platform Services, BI Department. The BI Platform team is accountable for the ongoing design, development, and support of the corporate business intelligence systems on SAP and Microsoft Stacks.
We’re looking for you to do
This is a technical role where you will design efficient relational structures to hold and manage data. You will have the ability to communicate technical designs, data problems, and issues to non-technical team members whilst also providing insightful reporting solutions to help drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
What Skills are we looking for?
You will have a good working knowledge of relational databases as well as an understanding of data management and integration with a specific fondness for ETL utilising Azure Data Factory and/or Data Bricks.
We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar database engineering role and has experience in building data warehouses, preferably with utility industry experience.
Technical skills:
Mandatory – Demonstrable experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, and the full MS SQL stack
Highly desirable – SAP B4 Hana Developer, SAP Analytics Cloud
