What you’ll be doing:

The purpose of this role is to liaise with Highway Authorities to respond to invoices and charges received under the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and the Traffic Management Act (TMA). The role involves processing a high volume of charges, which requires specialist training on corporate systems and an in-depth knowledge of the relevant TMA legislation.

This role is required to ensure accurate and timely processing of charges in order to maintain good relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

We’re looking for you to:

  • Have great attention to detail and accurate data entry skills as you will be using and updating multiple systems at the same time and it is imperative that correct information is entered at all times
  • Have previous customer service skills gained through a role where you have taken calls and requests from customers and prioritised them effectively to provide solutions
  • Be IT literate, be able to adapt to using new software quickly, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to prioritise work and work under pressure in a busy environment
  • Any experience with Vistec, Insight, SAP, JMS and GIS would be highly beneficial

This is a temporary role for approx. 26 weeks, starting as soon as possible with a pay rate of £12.29 per hour.
