About the role

We are looking for an organised PMO Coordinator/administrator to join our busy Wholesale Services team in Reading, Berkshire on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

The successful candidate will assist with maintaining resource plans, activity planning, on-boarding, resourcing, coordinating meetings and providing agendas/information packs for inputs/outputs, administering the programme level RAID, actions tracking, minute-taking, and general programme support.  

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Supporting the Operational Excellence Manager with tracking, reporting, planning, resourcing and RAID management
  • Assisting with the monitoring of programme and workstream Project Management Plans providing single point of view of milestones and dependencies
  • Ensuring that programme updates and reports are completed in a timely fashion (following up with Workstream Leads and Project Managers on agreed actions from meetings, resolution of risks, issues and dependencies)
  • Helping to identify risks and issues, and subsequent monitoring/reporting
  • Minute-taking and helping to facilitate/organise meetings, to include agendas and relevant inputs/outputs
  • Assisting with general programme office support to help the Project Managers and Workstream Leads to achieve their objectives
  • Adherence to Framework Phases, Stages and Gates

  • Knowledge of applying best practice framework, methods, processes and procedures for projects
  • Able to support multiple projects at any one time
  • High attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to activities – solutions focused
  • Ability to liaise at all levels
  • Fully competent with all MS Programmes
