What you’ll be doing

The Regulatory Manager – Econometrics will be a key player in the economic regulation team, giving high-quality advice economic and econometric advice and analysis on a wide range of economic regulatory issues.

 

The role will also involve developing external networks to influence the development of regulation on economic regulatory issues for the benefit of the business and its customers, along with drafting and managing responses to Ofwat consultations.

What you should bring to the role

  • Degree level qualification in the analytical subject, preferably economics or mathematics
  • Thorough understanding and some experience of regulatory issues
  • Strong influencing & communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to think outside the box and to enjoy working in an ever-changing landscape
  • High-level competencies in analytical, conceptual & strategic thinking, order, and quality change orientation, and team work
  • Significant experience in applied econometrics and management/analysis of large datasets and experience in statistical software
