What you’ll be doing

Providing support to the Capital Delivery (CD) E2E Process Manager to ensure that the CD Business Management Systems (BMS) & Processes are continually improved, aligned, and integrated with the wider business systems and processes through a broad range of business-as-usual activities and change projects.

Developing a comprehensive understanding of the CD BMS to become a subject matter expert, capable of supporting end-users in the understanding and implementation of the BMS when undertaking their duties and responsibilities according to their roles.

  • Support the development, maintenance, implementation, and administration of the Thames Water Common Data Environment (CDE)
  • Proactively involved in the continuous improvement of a robust, flexible, and effective project delivery framework and all associated documentation within the BMS
  • Provide support to the CD Risk, Governance, and Assurance team in overseeing the effectiveness of the corporate governance framework and BMS for Capital Delivery and its portfolio of works, to meet its objectives.
  • Providing support, training & guidance to end-users of the BMS to help shape project delivery and embed best practices into everything we do.
  • Authoring/Editing guidance documentation, presentations, workbooks, forms & templates
  • Build strong relationships with major discipline & departmental leads across Capital Delivery, the supply chain, and the wider business
  • Coordinating and facilitating meetings, workshops, briefings & training

What you should bring to the role

  • Hold strong IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of program and project management principles
  • Have good stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience in working with Common Data Environment / Collaboration software
  • Experience in a construction project delivery or asset operations/maintenance environment
  • Awareness of Building Information Modelling (BIM) principles
