PROCESS TECHNICIANS

What you will be doing:

Your role will be to ensure that our wastewater treatment works are running safely and efficiently, and to protect the environment, all whilst working within a supportive team culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to be hands-on, working outdoors, often in beautiful countryside. This is a rewarding position that will offer you long-term progression and stability.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring, cleaning and inspecting equipment, following a checklist to carry out maintenance, whilst ensuring the equipment is working by doing a test run. You will be required to report any defective equipment, to ensure a swift resolution following any breakdowns, whilst attempting a first-time fix
  • Taking ownership of your own and colleagues' health and safety through escalating any concerns to your manager or resolving them yourself where possible and appropriate
  • Site pride – putting your stamp on your sites. Striving for site accreditation of the highest level

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with the following

  • Previous maintenance or operative experience
  • Computer data input /enquiry experience 
  • The ability to operate modern technology as work will be scheduled through this system
  •  A team player, who is passionate about your personal development
  • Keen to learn a new industry and embark on a rewarding training programme
  • Health and safety focused
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Be hands-on and relish the outdoor life

Our competitive salary package (with an increase of £1.5 k upon your Process Technician qualification) includes an excellent contributory pension, 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service and a wider benefits scheme.
