What does the role involve?

The role as a Project Reporting Analyst is challenging, exciting and encompasses a range of key responsibilities including

Developing management and financial reports for key stakeholders to ensure Waste Treatment achieves compliance targets. Also, opportunity to utilise skills and knowledge of operations, capital investment, and maintenance. 

Setting up projects including WBS codes, reviewing risks, and releasing budgets when required.

Production of key reports for senior management team(s) which will aid in making appropriate risk-based decisions.

Preparing business cases & investment papers, liaising with appropriate stakeholders and seeking sign-off for all investment needs.

Month end activities include managing monthly capital expenditure, maintaining project forecast(s), providing variance analysis and commentary of actuals vs budget for projects.

Take responsibility for the wider team by providing support and training where required.

Occasional travel to other sites when needed.

We’re looking for you to

  • Be comfortable with dealing with large volumes of data from multiple sources
  • Possess a working knowledge of SAP ERP
  • Have a proactive approach with effective communication skills
  • An excellent problem solver, analytical with attention to detail
  • Experience in using Power BI would be useful
  • Thrive on working under pressure and able to cope with changing demands
  • Ability to prioritise projects and deliverable
  • Advanced user of Microsoft products (strong Excel skills)
  • Experience in financial reporting, project accounting & budgeting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, preferably Finance, Accounting
