We have an exciting opportunity to join Thames Water as a Technical Resource Co-Ordinator.

The job pays between £20,874-£28,242 plus a 25% Shift allowance on top of basic salary.

The working shift pattern is a 12 hour rotating shift pattern, based on an average contractual 38-hour week worked over an agreed 6 week shift cycle.

What you’ll be doing

The Technical Resource Co-Ordinator (TRC) is responsible for supporting the Control Room teams with the scheduling, dispatch and completion of investigations and repair work for above and below ground operations to contractors and Thames Water Engineers. The role delivers the highest levels of customer service, and Health & Safety in these activities as well as it’s vital role in supporting safe Sewer Entries from an office perspective and directing Operational Customer Contacts accordingly.

  • Facilitating work progress and completion according to required time frames, ensuring service is delivered in a consistent and compliant manner that is cost effective, maximises productivity and is in accordance with Thames and external contractual requirements
  • Deliver the highest levels of customer service, enhancing customer experience in line with the customer experience statement – Trust, Easy, Care model
  • Support operational events and pollution incidents as required
  • Responsible for the identification and allocation of reactive work to the appropriate technician for resolution
  • Support the safe delivery of Sewer Entries by ensuring live contextual information is taken into account when field teams make entry

We are looking for you to

  • Understand Work Management Processes and Systems preferred
  • Be fully competent at using the appropriate Company IT systems and Office software
  • Have excellent Organisational skills
  • Have operational experience advantageous
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have ability to work under pressure to meet demanding targets
