The Integration Platform team plays a key role in digital transformation and is accountable for building and enhancing the integrations built on our key platforms (MuleSoft Anypoint, SAP Integration Suite) ensuring it meets the demands of the business.
What you’ll be doing as an Integration Lead
Working in a DevOps model, you will be responsible for the delivery of new apis/integrations within MuleSoft and SAP Integration Suite whilst also supporting operational resilience and platform stability. The Integration Engineer’s main objective is to provision the highest quality code in Production. They will spend the majority of their time understanding requirements, standards and delivering to those standards. They will be subject matter experts in the use of the integration product suites they use to create highly efficient and robust and scalable integrations.
As a member of the team, you will use your knowledge and expertise of MuleSoft and SAP Integration Suite to guide the business and develop outcomes in accordance with requirements. Being familiar with the wide amount of capability provided within MuleSoft and SAP, you will identify, build, and test high-quality technical solutions ensuring the expected functionality is provided. You will also be required to monitor and support applications on production, working in a typical devops model – you support what you build.
As a technical expert, you will be willing to assist the development of others whilst also developing your own knowledge. You will ensure best practice is followed and look for opportunities for improvement.

You will also likely have:
- Experience in JavaScript, RAML, REST, SOAP, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, Anypoint Studio, Munit, Azure DevOps
- Integration experience on MuleSoft Platform or SAP Integration Suite or any other integration platform
- Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution
- Experience of working within a DevOps environment and the related processes and controls
- Passion and a genuine interest for Integration Cloud technologies and products
- Be a confident communicator with proven ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders as necessary
- Flexible in approach to role and responsibilities and ability to quickly learn and work on new integration technologies
- Confident enough to challenge but, equally, seeks feedback, listens carefully and always ensures the right outcome
- Proven experience working within multiple software development lifecycle methodologies
- Experience of IT software development and methodologies
