This is a brilliant opportunity to join Thames Water’s Water Networks team at an exciting time as it continues its business and cultural transformation.  Our Water Network business provides our customers and communities with life’s essential service ‘Water,’ and this new role is crucial in ensuring we provide them with every day with the high-quality service they deserve.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst to provide excellent service to Thames Water customers, through the effective operation and maintenance of the Water Network.

This is a technical role that requires issuing, briefing the field teams and then subsequently analysing data (flow and pressure) that will be delivered by a multi-skilled field team.

This role requires a hybrid working format with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

What you’ll be doing as a Leakage Analyst

  • Risk assessment - timely completion of risk assessments required for the work impacting the clean water network.
  • Analysing Data - Evaluate and analyse operational information, understanding data integrity difficulties, to resolve basic and more complex problems.
  • Planning and Co-Ordinating work for the field team – ensuring that sufficient work is planned for the night resource, allowing the team to remain productive throughout the working week.

What should you bring to the role?

  • Having a degree in a suitable discipline like Engineering or possessing relevant practical industry experience working within a water network or leakage environment would be beneficial.
  • Possess good analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills and extreme willingness to learn and work hard to drive their career within Thames Water.
  • Be fully competent at using the appropriate company IT systems and office software.
