We are excited to offer an experienced Project Manager to work in a fast-paced and effective team, where every day is different from the last. Working beside a Project Coordinator, this position offers the freedom to provide cost saving for Thames Water and our Developers. 

What you’ll be doing as a Developer Services Project Manager 

Project managing of new water main, self-lay and NAV schemes within London regional area.  

The Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring Developer Services main shames are delivered on time in line with Water UK regulatory timescales.

The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring Health and Safety standards, Thames Water best operating practises and all water quality procedures are followed.

Meeting developers at pre-site meetings to collate a programme of works, and ensure any off-site works are booked in with local authorities and other relevant parties.

Field base: London Region.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 08:00am – 16:00pm. 

What you should bring to the role 

  • An exceptional leader who can develop teams across a geographical area.
  • Ideally, you will have worked within the industry previously and have a good understanding of the water/wastewater business.
  • Must be an organised individual with good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements is essential. (SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH) 
  • Knowledge of Corporate IT systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • You must hold a full, UK driving license.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and that of others.
  • Willing to learn and be willing develop others in your team.
  • Have previous experience in a project manager role.
