We are looking for a Nights Validation Field Team Leader to join Thames Water permanently.
The purpose of this role is to carry out field investigations into complex operational problems and provide technical support to the wider DMA Excellence team to maintain DMA availability, good asset health and solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure validation reporting is delivered; field equipment is available and working; and sufficient monitoring is in place to maintain a right-first-time approach to deliver DMA validation and improvement activities.
This is an opportunity to work in a high-profile team, working to improve system operations.

- Night Shift working Monday 20:00 - Friday 06:00.
- Offering a salary up to £45,000 depending on skills and experience + you will get a company van.
What you will be doing as a Nights Validation Field Team Leader
- Perform audits of network maintenance, traffic management and validation activities.
- Carry out site competence assessments and Best Practice implementation training.
- Lead field investigations to identify anomalies within the water network and report findings and recommendations.
- Carry out DMA Validation and support DMA Improvement.
- Performance manage a field team provided by our Service Partners.
- Maintain attendance records and sign off timesheets.
- Develop performance reports and deliver them to key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance to Health & Safety, performing H&S observations (SHE6) and Asset Standard, measuring compliance.
- Ensuring all PTWs are correctly signed on and off, also responsible for ensuring the network has been restored to normal operation before leaving the site; escalating any issues.
What should you bring to the role?
- Essential skill – Problem-solving and resolving any network anomalies.
- Ideally have expert knowledge of distribution systems.
- Ideally understand correct valve ops procedure.
- Working knowledge of reading GIS Mapping software.
- Experience in managing technical field teams.
- Sound working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Audits, Business Operating Plans, and quality systems.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fully competent at using the appropriate Company IT systems and office software.
