What you’ll be doing as a Senior Technical Assurance Engineer Opportunities
- You'll have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders, including engineers, asset management, and operations. This collaboration will shape fit-for-purpose solutions and positively influence the balance of innovation, value for money, and resilience.
- This role also requires extensive collaboration with, and assurance of, consultants and contractors supporting the delivery of often large, complex capital projects.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations, as well as our policies, standards, and expectations, so that solutions are delivered safely and meet the technical and environmental requirements of the Project Brief.
- Your role will support Thames Water’s ‘triple zero’ Health, Safety, and well-being vision. By conducting audits and reviewing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safe Systems of Work, you'll contribute to our goal of zero incidents, zero harm, and zero compromise.
- Identifying and supporting the management of delivery risks and opportunities.
- Contributing to the creation of Project Briefs and responding to RFIs.
These are hybrid roles with an office base in the Thames Water region. The role will require office and site visits 2-3 days a week as the business needs.
The standard hours are Monday – Friday, 36 hours a week. However, we are flexible on working hours and patterns, so please apply if you are looking for an alternative to this.
The ideal candidate will have access to transportation and hold a driver's licence, but please do apply if you do not currently have this.
What you should bring to the role
- Be educated to a degree level in an Engineering discipline – ICA, Electrical, Civil or Mechanical or hold the HNC equivalent.
- Background in working in a design and construction-related role.
- Awareness of applying Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. (CDM 2015)
- You must have technical knowledge and expertise within your discipline and the ability to work with various engineering disciplines to create fully operational solutions.

- Competitive salary between £50,000 to £65,000 per annum depending on the skills and experience of successful candidates.
