As an ERP Programme Governance & Assurance Lead you will manage the day-to-day operation of the ERP Programme from a financial & governance management perspective ensuring high quality delivery of PMO related services across planning, reporting, governance, controls, assurance, finance, business case and administrative support.
This role will also support and control change across the programme and support the management of programme dependencies with the 3rd party vendors as well as other inter-programme dependencies within Thames Water.
What you’ll be doing as an ERP Programme Governance & Assurance Lead
- Support with Finance tracking of programme such as the tracking of Programme budget including correct receipting of goods and ensuring POs are raised against orders
- Support Programme Director with governance cycle and reporting inputs.
- Oversee the production and quality assurance of portfolio and project reporting, ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and clear insights for senior stakeholders regular weekly programme reporting and Steering Group reporting
- RAID LOG management - Support with RAID log reviews – regular risk & issue management - working alongside the programme manager
- Taking the programme through the relevant stage gates and providing PMO assurance activity.
- Support with business case documentation and Investment committee governance submissions supporting the Programme Director
- support with the onboarding of additional supplier resources. Identify & forecast resource needs for the programme working alongside the programme manager
- Manage project change (scope, time, budget) within agreed tolerances or escalate changes accordingly
What you should bring to the role
- Extent experience of Digital / IT programme management delivery role
- Experience of financial management up to £15m per annum
- Proficiency in project, programme tools for scheduling, planning, RAID management, and resource tracking
- Experience producing governance reports using structured data, with the ability to collate, evaluate, and interpret information from multiple sources
- Experience of developing business cases and ongoing financial management on large programmes
- PRINCE 2 Practitioner or equivalent
- Ideally will have SAP ERP programme experience
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced programme environment.
